OLIVIER FOREST - DIRECTOR

I am a french storytelling commercials director.

Since I was 3 years old I was in touch with visual things, I started with drawing, that made me begin, a few years later, Artistic Studies in french "Beaux-Arts".

Then, I focused on photography and got a Diploma. 
I worked a lot with agencies and customers like fashion/events/ or companies.
​
Passsionate of cinema and commercials, I started a specialisation of moving pictures as a video operator and worked with many companies.
​
I also worked on Commercials, features or short movies productions as an Assistant director, extras manager or runner).
​
But my final destination was to put my ideas and stories on screen, as a movie director. So, I started a course to perfect my knowledge in London at National Film and Television School.

I made movies and learnt a lot with professionals (Blink, Great Guns, Partizan, Director Dougal Wilson, Anthea Benton...).

 

And now, I am looking for freelance project as a storytelling director for commercials.

My highlights are: Directing actors, human contact, crew understanding, finding solutions on set to make the best film as possible.

My artistic vision is: Working with Beautiful pictures and writing emotional stories about dreams or nightmares.
